Short truce between Governor Spitzer and the Health Care Lobby
On Tuesday, March 13th, both sides in the battle over the state health care budget quieted down and ceased running their costly television ad campaigns. They also noticeably toned down their criticism of each other in public meetings, as reported by The New York Post on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
However, the attack ads were resumed the next day, after failed negotiations, according to the New York Sun.
