The New York Times reported today that Governor Spitzer hosted a breakfast yesterday for the leaders of the two organizations funding the Healthcare Education Project, health care workers union 1199 SEIU and the Greater New York Hospitals Association. In a PowerPoint presentation, Spitzer responded to the attacks made by the two organizations relating to his proposed tax cuts, branding them the "Guardians of the Status Quo." See the article here.

The Healthcare Education Project also released another television commercial to respond to Spitzer's charge of excessive complaining by the health care lobby, entitled No Cry Baby.
